Aldo Verbruggen completed the Trainee Judicial Officer course after graduating in Dutch law. He worked as a Public Prosecutor at several Public Prosecutor’s Offices and became a specialist in financial and economic criminal law. He also established the National Expertise Centre for Vertical Fraud and has held various managerial positions. He has worked at Wladimiroff Advocaten since 2005, specialising in financial and economic criminal law. Most of his clients are companies and their executive officers. Aldo Verbruggen teaches criminal law and law of criminal procedure at various institutes, as well as specialist criminal law subjects. He periodically contributes a column for the Juridische Zaken BNR radio programme.
